Helicopters loaded onto ro-ro vessel
Global Shipping Services Project Management handled the transport of sensitive military cargoes from an undisclosed “strategic” Middle East country to the U.S., according to a company statement.
Helicopters were moved on trailers to the port. Harbor cranes lifted the helicopters to the ground where they were loaded onto a ro-ro vessel.
Timing was critical. The cargo was scheduled to leave the Middle East on Nov. 3 and arrive in the U.S. prior to Nov. 27. The shipment was delivered three days ahead of schedule.
